It won't be the same, part of SEO is also optimizing the server where the site will live. If you get free or cheap hosting, your webpage will be at a significant SEO disadvantage. I'm sure you can afford $20/mo for solid hosting from site5.com. Source: about 3 years ago

A cheap plan of shared hosting is probably the best bet, Krystal has a plan for £7/month (or £70/yr), which might be out of his budget. Nixihost has similar prices, and Zume has a £5/mo plan. Source: 10 months ago

I’ve always found Krystal to be very good. UK-based (fyi) but they’re mid-size, independent and have a good focus on transparency, good customer service and sustainability. Worth a look in. Source: 11 months ago
