Stacktune is a web application that enables producers, studios and musicians to manage, organize and collect feedback on their audio projects. And as comparing different mixes reliably often is a tedious task, we also automated aligning and level matching different files.

Stackune offers two ways to share your files

invite users to your project

We've made it as easy as possible to grant users access to your project: New collaborators receive a link, which grants them instant access to the project without having to create an account or register first. In case you want additional security, you can also require users to create an account, before being able to redeem the invitation.

public links

create a public link to share mixes with anyone. No account is required to play or download the audio file.

efficient upload

just select a file to upload - based on the filename our intelligent upload feature automatically suggests the best matching song and a description for your mix.

player

seamlessly switch between automatically aligned mixes at a matched playback level. You'll be amazed by the things you'll notice

stay up to date

Get notified about new feedback or mixes by subscribing to our digest. Opt-in to receive a notification via mail shortly after new events happen. In case of further events, additional notifications are only sent once a day - unless you log in again.

  • Which web browser (apart from Firefox) do you use and why?
Can you check if sharedrop.io is working on Mull? On my device, it can see the other party but it can't save file. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • P2P File Transfer
I googled about it, so im here to ask. Aren't there any APP that does P2P file sharing anymore? I found a website called sharedrop.io and it seems to work, but Im looking for alternatives. Source: about 2 years ago
  • How to setup Adguard Ad Blocker, Adguard DNS and Adguard VPN best to work together on Android?
I've only added one extra blocklist into the blocker. I have added one application bypass: I've installed Samsung Internet and placed it in the app bypass list and ONLY access sharedrop.io with it. Sharedrop is a great quick and dirty (and local network only) transfer program that doesn't work while under the blocker, so I made a desktop and bookmark link that only goes to that page. Everything else stays... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Can i send files through email directly to my boox device instead of sending them through the BooxApp?
If you are on the same network, you can try https://sharedrop.io. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Crate: File storage for musicians
Hey, welcome to the club. We had exactly the same idea quite a few years ago: https://stacktune.com And it turned out we haven't been the only one - these days there are quite a few comparable web apps available. Always great to see alternate takes on tackling those issues. Good luck and happy building. Source: almost 3 years ago

Worked with an artist earlier this year who used one of these called Stacktune. Source: about 3 years ago
