You could play a big chunk of the first one online for free at https://shapez.io/ to see if you like the core of the game at no risk (iirc, the free "demo" version on shapez.io includes everything that was in the first version of the game, it just doesn't have all the extra content from the later paid Steam version.). If you liked fallout you should play Outer Worlds. Super fun game, open world, fun combat similar to fallout and good story. Also has 2 DLCs rn I believe. I played it back to back without then with DLCs. Would highly recommend this game made by obsidian. Source: over 1 year ago
