With Shapespark you can create realistic, web-based walkthroughs and video meetings from your 3D models that can be easily shared via links and opened directly on desktop and mobile.

Main features:

  • Full movement freedom. Allow your clients to enter a space and freely walk around to examine every corner and detail. Make them feel as if they are there. Unlike 360 panoramas, the presentation is not limited to a few selected viewpoints and there is no distortion in the corners of the screen.
  • 3D Meetings. With a couple of clicks turn any 3D model into a meeting space where people walk & talk in 3D. Participants can use interactive features like screen sharing in the 3D world! Share just as easily as a regular Shapespark walkthrough.
  • Integrated light-map baking engine with automatic UV unwrapping that allows for realistic lighting without a need for a powerful computer during the presentation, so the result can be viewed even on mobile devices or laptops. To speed up the baking process you can use CUDA enabled graphics card or multiple CPUs.
  • Virtual reality support.
  • Interactive features. You can place material pickers in your scene to allow the user to change materials and clickable elements in the model to show additional information.

I maintain a list [1] of main web based text to diagram tools including ascii drawing tools like these. Web alternatives for this are probably https://fsymbols.com/draw/ or https://textik.com/ or https://asciiflow.com/#/ or https://web.archive.org/web/20210503172024/https://fatiherikli.github.io/archetype/ or https://app.monosketch.io [1]: https://xosh.org/text-to-diagram/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 months ago

    > 7. You can put them in the source where they are relevant. > Got a hairy state machine? Stick a comment at the top with something like nomnoml's syntax and anyone can follow what's going on without having to trace through the code. For that use-case a markup graph language is a poor solution. Use https://asciiflow.com instead to produce something that people can digest without needing a third-party tool that may... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
