Two things that changed my life: (1) https://serializer.io/ to read HN. It shows the top list in a way that lets you mark all as read. If I check it too often, it just shows all posts as read because they are. Simple and brilliant. (2) iOS Automation Shortcut starts a 9 minute timer when I open twitter or Instagram. It lets you "clear" HN much faster and helps you avoid burning another 20 minutes reading threads you've already read. Have look at crypto.jobs once you learn the basics and understand how space works it's not that hard too much opportunities out there to be independent. If I was you with no money/on budget will fly back take normal job with no commitment and spend rest of time in studying and understanding space.
