  • Click PLC: Trouble sending serial RS-232 ASCII data
    I'm using the port 2 RJ45 serial port on the Click, and that's connected to a serial to USB converter for the receiving machine. On the receiving machine I opened up this program and matched the settings exactly to how they're configured on the Click PLC send command. I played around with different handshaking and I'm not receiving any data at all from the PLC. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Memory problem with egui and crossbeam
    I send 10000 bytes of data over COM port. First I recorded with the third-party terminal. I used Bray++ and after receiving the data I don't see any major change in memory usage. It is around 3.3MB before and after. Now on the other hand when I use my version it goes from like 44MB to 47MB! A massive increase in memory usage. When I clear the string it returns to around 44MB.
