Can’t knock the platform - it’s great. I feel like they should have a paid-for offering at a lower price point, however. Strongly recommend!
Semrush is very popular and next level performance tool which varies competitors, analyzes and tracking of any domain website, which provides you full information what's the position of the website, overall traffic, etc. This tool is easy to use with limited trial 7 days, after the trial ends, has limited features work on free plan. There plans are very expensive, not affordable at purchasing price plans.
In my experience, semrush is very costly and high level of experience.
SEMrush provides a great central hub for adding your websites as projects which can be tracked, audited and measured for visibility over time. I've used the platform across many roles and found the only recent drawback was the removal of their display advertising competitor reports.
Based on our record, The Odin Project seems to be a lot more popular than SEMRush. While we know about 233 links to The Odin Project, we've tracked only 18 mentions of SEMRush. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

I use SEMRush (semrush.com/) a lot when researching a niche. I would spent hours and hours in researching and documenting a list of competitors in different niches. Source: 11 months ago

I often work with beginner Rails developers through The Odin Project and The Agency of Learning. One common pain point people may run into while learning is the dreaded "silent create action" failure. You've written your model, controller, and routes for a new resource, you've built the form view for creating this resource, but when you fill out the form and click the submit button, nothing happens. And the logs... - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago

For GitHub, I'll say just do basic things and most importantly learn about merging and creating branch checkout, etc. Try to work with a team where if you even push in main by mistake it won't be a blunder. Tutorials are good but I was at the same place once. Git was scary lol. There are some intermediate things like rebase etc. But you won't need most of it. Just go with theodinproject.com it'll be enough and try... Source: 11 months ago
