Maybe download the installers for Fedora & Tumbleweed and boot to the USB Drive you install the .iso file on to 'try' a distro first instead of destroying you current setup for the totally unknown world of linux. If either your HDD is not being recognized in the BIOS or you are able to POST and BOOT but Windows is not loading giving errors, try creating a bootable pen drive with Windows and boot from your pen drive (if your only device left is your phone, you can use an OTG usb cable to connect a pen drive and use something like EtchDroid to create a bootable pen drive), go to recovery options and try restoring a previous...
