Simple. Go to Rover and hire someone to come to your place every 3 days or so for about $20 per visit. Should be around $100. Source: 5 months ago

I've used rover.com for puppysitters and they've been great. It costs about $50/night and includes $20K insurance in case anything happens while you're gone. Source: 10 months ago
If your neighbor doesn't work out or you need someone to care for Jonesy, the website rover.com has tons of people all over the U.S. Who will do anything from board pets in their homes to stay at your place to take care of pets to drop-in visits to feed, water, walk dogs, etc. I've used them before when traveling to take care of my dogs, who are a major handful and scare/intimidate most people, and always gotten... I'm glad you stood up for yourself, in this situation, but a word of caution that much like how the care.com calculator skews low, that one skews a bit high and can fluctuate. I just looked it up and for my area I am making what it suggests...for twins. I have the highest rate I know of (mind you, only after generous raises). I've talked to other nannies with more experience who make up to $5 less than me. Look at... Source: 5 months ago
Absolutely don't go into any home that's not government funded. If you have extra cash, pay it to hire someone through, e.g., care.com to visit your Dad in the home and provide extra assistance. Much cheaper to pay for some extra support in a publicly funded facility than to go into a 100% privately-funded one. Source: 5 months ago
