This idea seems similar to screeps, robocode, battle-code, and to a lesser extent, Neural MMO. Source: over 1 year ago
Looks cool! Reminds me of robocode. Source: over 1 year ago
I found https://robocode.sourceforge.io/ in Java, https://screeps.com/ in JavaScript (WASM from Golang seems not to work), and https://leekwars.com/ had its own language…. Source: about 2 years ago
You had to write the intelligence of a robot/tank in a C-like language of these game development software. The bottom line is two of these programs competed against each other. If I remember correctly these battles took place in a recurring tournament and you could win a license of the game developement software, or maybe nothing. The only one I found in a 2-minute search that is similar to this is Robocode... Source: about 2 years ago
One of the first incantations of this idea that I encountered, when I had just started working at my first corporate job back in the day, was Robocode ( https://robocode.sourceforge.io/ ) - it was great fun, and I see it's still going. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
To end with a positive note. I’m so happy I started this journey of writing about my day. I’ve always liked documenting my journey in different ways but I feel like I finally found something I can maintain. I tried all kinds of strategies on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube but never kept to one, despite all the systems I tried building for it. I’d like to thank you, my dear reader. I don’t know if you come from... - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Thank you all for reading, and I am eager to get back into the tech space. I’m 15, and although I may be considered young to join, I've been around for some time, quietly observing and learning a few things along the way. My writing still needs to be improved, and so do my coding skills, and I’m happy to grow with such a great community that is Hashnode, and the programming community in general. - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
Remember how I suggested that you define your purpose in the previous step? Well, it makes it easier for you to choose the platform that will help achieve this goal. I decided to document my journey via blogging because I love writing. With this in mind, I wanted to use platforms with an easy setup and customization, so I chose Hashnode and Dev.to. If you prefer being on camera or audio, consider using platforms... - Source: dev.to / about 2 months ago
Wow! Thank you for doing this. It looks like a great starting point for anyone approaching deep learning from the JS ecosystem. It is very plainly written and looks like it will be a joy to learn from. Thank you for adding JSDoc comments with type hints! Are you open to pull requests? If I have the time I'd love to contribute. I'm sure others would as well. You should write up a short article on this, even... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
For many developers, blogging and technical writing play a key role in building their portfolio, sharing their projects, and for some — even in their day-to-day work. That’s why developer-centric platforms like DEV and Hashnode, and even more general ones, like Medium, are full of interesting technical content. The only problem with technical writing is in the actual writing and publishing process. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
