  • Any good alternative to Reveal?
I know that Xcode does a decent job debugging views but there is some times it simply is unable to capture the view. Also I'd like to be able to edit constrains and so like Reveal does. I'd buy Reveal since it is a great app but its price is absurd AND it is an annual subscription so... Source: 6 months ago
  • How do you recommend testing for iOS accessibility
I like to use Reveal to help me find accessibility issues. It’s good for finding colour blindness and contrast issues too. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How do you debug UIView? Are you using Debug View Hierarchy in XCode? I made the XRay library to help you debug UIView more conveniently link: https://github.com/ShawnBaek/XRay
Https://revealapp.com was the earliest and still has the most features as far as I know. Great app if you’re working on iOS apps. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Any idea how to make a dashed chart like this one?
That gives you a similar view, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t that. Nor does it look like Reveal. I’m really curious what it is as well. Source: about 3 years ago

  • Ask HN: Would you pay for a SaaS even if its open source and can be selfhosted?
I use anonaddy [0] because it's open source and self-hostable [1]. I don't have to worry about the service going under or jumping the shark, since I can always just self-host it on my own hardware and import my config should that happen. Of course I'd much prefer to pay someone else to run it, especially in the case of mail servers where self-hosting is notoriously tedious.
