What is Renderro?

It is like an easy to use AWS for creatives.

Renderro is DaaS (Desktop-as-a-service) for filmmakers, graphic designers, and animators. By using Renderro, users no longer need powerful hardware to operate more effectively, our DaaS can seamlessly handle large and complex 3D models, complicated video editing, and help reduce render time.

Our user can connect to Renderro using any device with a web browser - to quickly check up on his projects or download any file. For the best work experience, users can connect with a free desktop application for both Mac and Windows systems.

Setting up the Renderro workplace is just three easy steps, and requires absolutely no knowledge as to how the cloud technology works - it's as close to a plug-and-play experience as it gets.

  • Cloud Computer for Editing?
We've got exactly that - https://renderro.com/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • IT folks of reddit! I have a query related to remote working.
Maybe a better choice to satiate your boss' ego/curiosity would be to obtain a free trial of Renderro, which tries to put the whole cloud computing thing on a flat-rate, per-month subscription model for small firms and independents. It would be similar to an Adobe subscription, rather than the more complicated per-cycle and CPU core models employed in cloud-computing solutions. I have no idea how well the... • Easy way to run Blender directly in your browser! Allowing you to work from anywhere you want.
FYI for anyone curious about this kind of service but looking for an up-and-running established Cloud PC vendor that specializes in creative apps, you can look at Renderro. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Guide: Affordable Video Editing In the Cloud
Or you can just skip all this setup and limit the cost to $49/mo with Renderro, getting a very similar rig available from anywhere. Happy to answer any questions, as I'm directly working with this startup. Source: over 2 years ago

  • RIP Stadia - Where to play? 🤷
Before I built my rig. I used paperspace.com and parsec. you'll probably have to request that they unlock a better gpu server for you though. If you need any help just shoot me a message. Its like 50 cents an hour. Source: over 1 year ago
  • AWS doesn't make sense for scientific computing
There are several tier-two clouds that offer GPUs but I think they generally fall prey to the many of the same issues you'll find with AWS. There is a new generation of accelerator native clouds e.g. Paperspace (https://paperspace.com) that cater specifically to HPC, AI, etc. workloads. The main differentiators are:. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Casual ESO cloud gaming in a post-Stadia world
Guess you've never heard of paperspace.com :) Their systems (depending on the configuration ofc) work great with ESO and they run windows and it's parsec compatible. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Mac vs. PC - which to buy?
Something else to look into for a Windows machine would be Paperspace. It can be a little flaky at times, but you get a Windows machine in the cloud which works from a web browser. Even a pretty good one only costs $7 a month for storage 50¢ an hour to run. If you need a Windows machine in a hurry this is definitely your cheapest option. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: Any piece of hardware that was more of game changer than you expected?
Have you ever tried Paperspace (https://paperspace.com)? I've spent many hours gaming using their Windows offerings, although always strategy games so the latency hasn't been noticeable. I'm not sure how well it would work for FPS (probably reasonably, to be honest). They have a large number of general computing/graphics-specific machines you can spin up, and you can either pay per hour or per month. I've also... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
