Look on culinaryagents.com and goodfoodjobs.com, you do not need extensive experience to work in many kitchens, even in fine dining. Some kitchen are happy to work with "blank slate" so they can train you from scratch. You dont need to pigeon hole yourself to pizza unless thats what you're interested in. Source: over 1 year ago

I’d suggest checking out culinary agents it is one of the standard places to find hospitality jobs. A quick search just now listed lots of barista positions both for coffee shops as well as restaurants that need a barista. Source: about 2 years ago

Have you used culinaryagents.com to look for jobs? I don't know what neighborhood you're in but Cara Hotel near Los Feliz is hiring for front desk.. And the Courtyard Marriott L.A.
