  • Disable veteran unemployed since Nov and funds are almost depleted.
I’m sorry I don’t have any connections there. If you haven’t already, check out this place. I’ve gotten farther along with their help. Source: 12 months ago
  • Switching careers and I would like some advice
Well, there's https://recruitmilitary.com/, which has a few vendors that are constantly hiring tech people, like Cisco and Honeywell and Lockheed, etc. Definitely also some *interesting* gigs show up there that don't seem as widely advertised, though some of those are crunchy and difficult to get. Lots of IT and security companies as well. Kind of depends on the particular event you go to, and the companies that... Source: almost 2 years ago

  • Moving to Spain
That leaves you with DoD fed and contractors. For the former usajobs.gov is where you look for those but keep in mind Spain is a favorite so openings are rare, and even when they are posted they may already be filled as a contractor conversion. Nurses at Base hospital when I was there were not DoD civilians - they were military, there may have been a couple dependents. Source: 5 months ago
  • VA or not? (New grad & veteran)
Go to usajobs.gov. They have everything you need on that site. Source: 5 months ago
  • Junior CS student looking for internships, barely any non-automated OAs even. What am I doing wrong?
Like I said, minor stuff that's more style and personal opinion than anything else. If nothing else, create a usajobs.gov account and set up an alert for IT internships. They'll start putting up intern positions in the next few months (note: the hiring timeline is lengthy). Source: 5 months ago
  • Need Clarification on the Application
I'm at the final stages of an application but I have one hangup and I don't know how to go about it. I'm applying through usajobs.gov. Source: 5 months ago
