8 Best SpeedFan Alternatives for Computers for Windows and Mac
As the name indicates, the main function is monitoring system temperature. You can’t regulate fan speed, nor are you in control of the temperature. If you want a simple tool just to check the temperature and notify you of the alarming rate, Real Temp is the one you should go for.

7 Best Speedfan Alternatives for 2023
You can consider Real Temp as a Speedfan alternative but it works a bit differently. The main function of Real Temp is to monitor the temperature of your CPU (s) and GPU. Unfortunately, it only works with Intel processors and they’ve to be better than Pentium 4. So we’re talking about single core, dual core, quad core and i7 processors.
11 Best CPU Temperature Monitor For Windows PC To Check Accurate CPU Temp Readings
Real Temp and Core Temp are quite similar to each other because both have one reliable feature that is to monitor CPU temperature. Real temp can also show you the temperature of each individual core. This PC temp monitor comes great in handy if you have an intel processor.

SmokePing Reviews

  1. Such a helpful tool

Smokeping used to be one of my favourity tools when I was working as a SysAdmin long time ago. It's offers such a clever way of presenting the data, that it is super easy to identify any issues.

I still wonder why modern tools haven't adopted this ingenious technique.

    👍 Pros:    Usability

Let me introduce you to a rather old, but still highly useful, tool for free. Takes a little leg work to get going, but pays off in style. https://oss.oetiker.ch/smokeping/. Source: 11 months ago
  • Is there any way to fix packet loss!?
So I would run Smoke Ping (https://oss.oetiker.ch/smokeping/) for a while to get an idea of the loss. If it really is an external issue, you can try a VPN to hopefully pickup a different route. Source: 11 months ago
  • lightweight monitoring tool

  • Cox Monitoring -- something changed around 9:30 last night
I previously made a post asking for some ping results for various people in the area. Thank you to everyone who replied. Some of the comments encouraged me to set up a more proper monitoring system for keeping track of latencies to various servers, and to consider more than just ICMP ping as said packets are likely deprioritized.
