Inspiration for this post: I tried out Elements.cloud to diagnose an integration issue and I found the root cause in about 15 minutes. I was able to piece together that a stakeholder changed FIELD API NAMES, without updating Flows or the integration mappings to Salesforce. Had I not used it, it likely would've taken me much longer. I would really use https://c9.io It's a cloud programming environment and it's freaking fantastic for RoR, and free. That way you don't have to maintain a programming environment on your machine, and you can work from any web browser anywhere you want. It gives you a great code editor and a terminal so you can push to your repository of choice and to your live sites. Source: almost 3 years ago
