  • Assistance installing pwm using docker.io on Ubuntu 18.04.
As the title suggests I've hit a roadblock while trying to bring a password management server on Ubuntu using Docker. The software is called PWM and near the end of the instructions for the docker installation, it asks me to run this command docker create --name mypwm pwm/pwm-webapp -p '8443:8443' -v '/config:/home/user/pwm-config. • Web app for users to reset expired or forgotten AD password?
If you don't have licenses for writeback, try passcore. Https://github.com/unosquare/passcore. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Is there an AD plugin that informs users that their password has expired and prompts them to reset it?
I've started using the free Manage Engine tool to remind people and had just enabled RDS web access on one of my servers so users can change their password. But as an alternative Passcore looked like a good alternative just to give users a nice simple web interface as some users don't actually logon to a PC often. Source: about 3 years ago
