Punch you IP into https://iplocation.io and you will see where some of these databases have your location set. Some databases you can request updates. Some you will just have to be patient until they are updated. Source: over 1 year ago

If you goto https://iplocation.io/ you will get the results from multiple geo databases. My IP ends up in three states. Depending on the app, you'll get different GEO polices/content. I get a lot of localized content for the New York and DC area and I'm not where near there. Source: over 1 year ago
