The buzzer helps you to record your working hours across projects in real-time. The desktop app (available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux) will open as soon as you touch the buzzer. I've used one called ProcrastiTracker - it auto-classifies your apps into different categories, but lets you retroactively reclassify. The visualization is nice, and the program is really small and lightweight. Lets you export your data in a variety of formats which is super useful if you want to analyze in a spreadsheet or other tool. Source: about 2 years ago
