• Help deleting personal information from Prezi

  Hello fellow privacy enthusiasts, a very long time ago used Prezi for creating slides for a school presentations. I am able to find back to these as they contain my name. • LPT: PowerPoint slides should be simple and concise. When giving a presentation, no one cares about the wall of elegant text you created.

  If the speaker is able to use notes that aren't the slide (they're not relying on the slides being shown to the audience to be their own speaker notes), then I use the theory that the slides should provide "context, not content", except for specific details that someone might want to take down in their notes or have access to later, such as a citation. • LPT: Presentation slides are supposed to be simple and brief. Nobody is going to read your wall of fancy text when you give your presentation.

  Use the notes area of a slide to provide the details. If you share the deck or look back on it later the details of what was covered is there but it will help you keep the main presentation clean.   For presentation software, I would recommend ProPresenter. It works equally well on both macOS and Windows. I have used it for years, and it has been reliable. ProPresenter does support streaming too, but if you want to stream from the computer, I would recommend doing that with separate software, such as OBS. Source: over 1 year ago

• Question for performers using visuals

  ProPresenter does this, and is the most popular software for showing lyrics to live audiences. For very linear shows (like theatre productions), QLab is a popular option, and Resolume is commonly used for visuals in shows, but might be a little complex for you. • How well will software like ProPresenter work with git?

  ProPresenter is a presentation software that is different than PowerPoint on how it stores files. I was just wondering if git would get bloated or anything like that with this software. In the past, There have been instances where files accidentally get replaced with outdated versions or files that need deleting don't get deleted.
