  1. WORST SERVICE i ever see

Did not worked at all. No VPN connections, NO ssh connections... Did not work at all. No option to connect. Not working in my country and "No refund" :(

I got fooled with such fake service. NOT RECOMMENDING. use ngrok instead. Better for 800% that this

  • OpenVPNnot working and i dont know what to do
So I use portmap.io for OpenVPN like I saw in tutorials but I found out it is not working because my ip didn't change when I looked up what my ip was. Source: 11 months ago
  • SSH into a personal computer in Jio Network using public IP
I have a personal computer in the Jio Network at my home and I want to access it using ssh from another network. But in order to port forward my router I am stuck since Jio uses CGNAT if I am not mistaken and there is no use if I portforward. What other solutions do I have? I tried using portmap.io but I couldnt configure ssh in it (I dont want to use openVPN) so what other options do I have? Source: over 1 year ago
  • port forwarding/tunneling
I'm basically looking for a free version of https://portmap.io/ -- they will do this, but custom domains are $4/month. Source: over 1 year ago
  • port triggering to replace port forwarding
I would recommend trying again with port forwarding, or some other solution like this: https://portmap.io/ which is a kind of reverse tunnel made for situations like yours. That site has a free tier which allows a single forward. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Show HN: I built a little online drum machine using 808 style samples
I would highly recommend enabling click and drag to "paint" notes. As it is right now, if I want 16 closed hats, I have to move, click, 16 times. I'd rather drag to paint based on whatever state of the note I start on. The mutes on the left would be better if they mute the notes, not the sounds. Muting and then enabling can end up playing the tail of some of the longer sounds. This isn't typically how you want... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

Here is a classic 808 drum machine for your browser. Have fun! :-). Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Best music production program for making beats?
If that’s just about making beats, a Roland TR8 is awesome for that. Or even a Teenage Engineering PO Rythm, a jumbee or make https://io808.com his homepage. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Trying to figure out this 808 drumbeat sound from " Marvin Gaye" by Charlie Puth
In fact, try it right now. Go to https://io808.com/ . Set the tempo dial to 3. For the bass drum (BD), enable steps 1, 7 and 8. For the snare drum (SD), enable steps 9, 15 and 16. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Zoom Escaper: self-sabotage audio, making your presence unbearable to others
Also of note that Firefox's Web Audio API implementation just isn't very good in general. It's my daily driver, but I won't run Airsonic in it, because after half an hour or so the music reliably starts glitching. Fine in every other client, so it's definitely a Firefox thing, and iO-808 [1] also calls it out in an alert if you go there in Firefox. Granted, a glitchy audio implementation might be just the thing... - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
