Mac uses some BSD derivative right? If you compiled it from source then "make uninstall" should work. Alternatively you can catch which files are installed by "make", via various other programs. For instance https://porg.sourceforge.net/ offers that, but it may be too advanced for this task. Now that you have your build system all generated you can go ahead and build everything. By default Meson will use Ninja as the build tool. Ninja is similar to Make but much much faster.
