• Went to unlock the front door of my house today. There is no other door and all the windows are closed and locked.

  A few years ago I came home from a party at 1AM and got to the side garage door and instantly realized I didnt have the home key or garage door opener. Without hesitating I grabbed a fist sized rock and threw it at the side door glass.   If you're just shopping around / looking for comparatives, then sites like apartments.com, and https://sfbay.craigslist.org/ are good for getting an overview, keeping in mind they have a bit of a bias in their numbers as they only compare / show what they have so using at least two sites to get a "baseline" would be best.
