Poet.so is a free online tool that helps users create beautiful code snippet highlighted screenshots. It provides a simple interface that allows users to enter their own code and choose different themes, fonts, and color schemes. Users can also adjust the code alignment, line numbers, background, shadow, etc. To better control the screenshot effect. • [task] Create a ~5s video animating a tweet ($10, negotiable)
    - a colorful background, optionally animated slowly; - a white-ish background for the tweet on top of it, taking most of the screen (similar to https://poet.so/ but bigger white part); - the text of the tweet (below) appearing word by word; you can choose fade in, zoom in, or any other animation; - some generic music, slow and calm. • How I (organically) grew a Twitter bot account from 0 to 750 followers in 20 days.
Earlier, the bot was powered by https://poet.so. And it was a selenium script that was really, really inefficient and super costly to host. So, I created my own custom image generator to do the same. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
  • This website doesn't have an API, so I made my own, with extra features.
The poet_this twitter bot I made, used to use selenium to extract tweets from https://poet.so (literally going to the website, pasting link, taking a screenshot 💀). - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
  • I made a twitter bot to take beautiful screenshots of a tweet
Often times, after seeing a tweet, I go to https://poet.so to take a screenshot of it. However, this was kinda time consuming and stuff like that, but poet.so doesn't even have an API, so I create a selenium script that (very quickly) uses poet.so to take screenshots of a tweet. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago

  • Is an instant mini 11, mini 40 or Polaroid go better?
Polaroids, these days, are really Impossible Project, rebranded as Polaroid. They also now have cameras that shoot different format sizes, but you are no longer limited to using vintage cameras. You can do the full-sized Polaroids, but consistency on the film batch-to-batch may not be as good as with Fujifilm. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Recommendations for polaroid/instant camera
That said, if you really truly want oldtimey Polaroid feel and square prints, I would forego Instax and take a chance on the new Polaroid (fka the Impossible Project) cameras. The main issue will be the expense and consistency of the film. Fuji's much better, but the prints are tiny in comparison to full-sized Polaroids, even the square and wide formats. Source: about 2 years ago
  • What is the best instant camera?
If you care more about the quality of the instant film print, then I'd say go look at the current Polaroid cameras (rebranded Impossible Project products, really). Source: over 2 years ago
  • I too have pens and cameras
I bought it here, but I think mine was limited edition. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Gift ideas?!
If you're looking for something more in the $100 price range, maybe consider getting a new Polaroid or a Fuji Instax printer for her smartphone. Instant film/polaroid nostalgia can be fun, and this gear is brand new, and relatively low cost. Source: over 2 years ago
