  • To those of you who are currently mobile I have 2 questions! 1) how much are you spending month to month on living in your van? 2) how do you charge your electronics/keep them charged? I'm thinking heaters, phones, laptops...thanks awesome people! :)
Quite often yes, there's often plugs outside of stores, especially 7/11's for some reason. If I can find one where I can park and not be a nuisance with my cord I'll do so. I also use which is more for EV charging, but it has an option to filter by wall outlet, and NEMA 14-50(50A RV outlet which can be used with an adapter). Also a LOT of camp grounds will have power to the campsite to charge from. - Source: Reddit / 2 days ago

If you want to look for those other types of chargers (specifically the slower Level 2 AC chargers) then is a good website and mobile app. - Source: Reddit / 4 days ago

  • At what point is it economical to switch to a EV? I know its different for everyone, price range, commute, charging capability. What was your tipping point for EV or what will yours be? Gas in Victoria,BC is 169.
There's many that use public chargers to charge their EVs. - Source: Reddit / 6 days ago
