New version 3.0 of my PlantUML App for iPad is out with exciting update! 🤩 The new multi-modality feature now lets you transform hand-drawn diagrams into PlantUML scripts with just a pencil ✍🏻 or your fingers 👆. Take a look 👀 to this short on YouTube and download it from App Store to support me 👍🏻. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Someone at work showed me https://plantuml.com/ recently. If you want your diagrams as code . Version controlled etc.. I highly recommend it. Source: 5 months ago
Open-source tool that uses simple textual descriptions to draw beautiful UML diagrams. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
Seems like a considerable upgrade from PlanUML (https://plantuml.com/ - which is amazing, but sometimes you just can't seem to be able to align the stuff the way you want too). - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Plantuml is amongst the best there is. kroki.io has a sandbox for it Mermaid.js can do it in notion, it works as well as any other mermaid. Dbvisualizer is fantastic if you have an existing schema in a db instance. you may need the trial license to render the diagrams. Source: 11 months ago
Assuming that I've not misunderstood, how does this compare to things like: TrID [0]?? Apart from being open source. [0] https://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
If not, try using something like trid to detect what the file is, and other tools like ffmpeg or imagemagick to see if they can read it. Source: 11 months ago
.vi is not a file extension commonly associated with any common video format. The closest I can find is that it's an Arcsoft VideoImpression Project file, which may or may not contain actual video data. This is their website but from what I can find the VideoImpression product is discontinued. You can use TrID on the file to see what it thinks the file type is based on its magic number. You can try to use some tools that detect what extenstion file should have based on the content of the file, if the file is small, you can try https://www.checkfiletype.com/, otherwise you can try this tool: https://mark0.net/soft-trid-e.html. Source: about 1 year ago
If file isn’t working (extensible as mentioned) you could try TRiD. Source: over 1 year ago
