I've had a Raspberry Pi (mode 3B+) for a little while now, but last year for work, I looked into digital signage for the Pi platform, and came across piSignage (https://pisignage.com/). All the screens were being powered by Pis and its just another point of failure (power, hdmi, etc.). Since all the screens were Samsung Professional Signage screens, I moved the system over to Embed Signage which runs off the Smart function in the screens. Source: almost 3 years ago
