Picflow mentions (2)

  • Client photo delivery websites that allow updating images before digital delivery
If you want something more specific for client proofing, Picflow is AWESOME for this. It allows clients to draw and comment on photos to more specifically show you want they want fixed. IMO this probably better for commercial clients - I wouldn't want to make my wedding clients do all that extra work. Source: 12 months ago
  • Free Client Proofing Sites
I've been trying out the free plan from https://picflow.com/ for the last little while and it seems to be working well. Only complaint so far is it can be a little slow to load at times. Source: about 2 years ago

Entangle mentions (3)

  • Using a Canon EOS camera as a webcam in Debian
What's really interesting is Entangle. https://entangle-photo.org/ It works with a lot of DSLRs, it doesn't require you to do any of these steps, and it captures the output. • Ask HN: Set up a camera to record high quality images automatically
This. Go for tethered capture on a pair of old dSLRs and use something like an rPi or just bloody long cables to pull the images to an always-on linux box. Have a look at this to get started -- https://entangle-photo.org/ -- which works with many canon/nikon bodies. There are a few "lithium to power" hacks (e.g. "ONsite Relay A Camera Power System") but they are expensive and often many of the bodies can power... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Remote photography with Nikon D3400
Entangle works well if you are on Linux (or would consider dual booting) https://entangle-photo.org/. Source: over 2 years ago
