In my experience, [Pelican](https://getpelican.com/) does a good job of allowing you to edit themes on all pages at once with its static page generator. There are a lot of built in features designed more for blog-like websites, but I’ve found it pretty easy to make my personal website with it. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
There's also Pelican but I haven't used it and seeing as Github serves static pages I'd imagine it builds and deploys your page and is done with it. Source: about 1 year ago
I use Pelican (https://getpelican.com/) for my blog, which works decently for me. It is a static site generator written in Python. But you probably won't learn much Python by using it (or Rust when using a generator written in it) since you probably won't need to change anything in it. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Surely a "local private wiki ... Not web based ... On a desktop application" is not really a "wiki" at all, but rather a "static site generator" with a built-in "search". That would mean between approximately 2020 and 2029, give or take. The Black Mesa incident occurred in the year “200-”, according to canon sources. This means it could have happened at... My school gives me a laptop that is very restricted, most settings cannot be changed without admin, everything is logged, cmd blocked, websites blocked, etc. My laptop with Zorin OS (linux) does not have that issue so I always keep it in my bag. I would like to connect to the school wifi, however they still block certain web requests like quora.com, and nordvpn.com to name a few. For some reason my phone has no... Source: about 1 year ago
Consider substack, too. I subscribe to four substack blogs, ranging from $3 to $10 a month. This is split between author and substack. Also check out medium.com and quora.com If you don't make money now, you'll at least pack your writing resume. Source: about 1 year ago
I have a Space on quora.com that I administer and its fairly good sized. I'm not trying to one up anyone. It was mentioned if only to pointing to emphasize my view, action, and responsibility. Source: about 1 year ago
