  • How do you go down to 2 cores?
In our testing, for example, we found that disabling some of the Z13’s cores leads to longer battery life. Our best results were with 2 Performance-cores enabled and no Efficient-cores. With fewer cores enabled, the system doesn’t have to use as much power, so the battery was able to last longer in both the Modern Office and Gaming benchmarks of PCMark 10. Source: 12 months ago
  • I am superior.
I don't think that a massive uptime would be something that would show in a synthetic workload, like Cinebench. Those things are very good at maxing the computing power they require. • No one needs to see more "Macs are not gaming machines" comments around here. Just stop.
You cherry picked one bit from the Ars Technica review on the GPU where the M1 Ultra out performed the 3070 out of the set of multiple benchmarks (the others it didn't) and then another from somewhere else but when I went to the GFXbenchmark page, the Ultra gets bested yet again. It does do better than other tests I've seen but when I checked the test at lower resolution, (the normal), the M1 Ultra drops quite a... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Casually spotted some unknown Radeon GPU bench
Yesterday was looking for Radeon Instinct OpenGL bench (no one available for the new CDNA arch, due not including any graphics capabilities) and in Gfxbench scores I read a "AMD Radeon Graphics Summit" single score just below a 6800 XT. Before the comment was removed from AMD subreddit (due a rule for low effort posting, but I didn't have much to say at that point, neither at this point also) a guy pointed me to...
