I guess it was deleted Https://patook.com/. Source: 10 months ago
  • Christian friends
I haven't used it myself, but Patook is an app that's like a dating site, but it's specifically for finding friends and platonic relationships. You might be able to find some Christian friends there. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Does anybody know of any meet up group apps/sites for Glasgow? (Not meaning dating)
Still, I've met a few people on it. The app is called Patook! Source: about 2 years ago
  • Best methods for remaining in contact with friends or making new ones?
Another issue is how to find new friends to have meaningful conversations with. It's difficult having to start over and build a rapport that's supposed to be a substitute for years of knowing a person, and online friendships tend to fizzle out. I've been recommending the Patook app as a way to make meaningful connections but I don't even think that is enough. Source: about 3 years ago

Meetabit mentions (1)

  • Meetup has been acquired by Italy's Bending Spoons
Just to provide another data point, I've been running the HelsinkiJS meetup (https://helsinkijs.org/) for 12 years and our upcoming event has had 230+ people register within a day, which is a record. We've also got sponsors lined up for the next 6+ months. I should add that we ended up building https://meetabit.com/ to make it easier to run the events and it's now being used by around 10 tech meetups in Finland.... - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
