I have previously used OzCode to do this (and a lot more); however there seems to be some confusion as to what is happening with that product due to a takeover by DataDog that occurred back in November 2021. As a ruby developer, I was happy to find that VS Code / TextMate grammar files use the same regular expression engine called Oniguruma as ruby itself.
