Radarr Reviews

The Ultimate Automated Media Setup for Movies & TV Shows
Radarr, much like Sonarr, is very simple to setup and requires minor configuration once installed. The configuration for Radarr is also available via a web browser at http://localhost:7878. The wiki for the project has great documentation that should be able to get you going.

Installing Radarr, Sonarr and Deluge on your Unraid Server
Radarr is another open source software solution that I recommend installing. Radarr is a fork of Sonarr for media content that Radarr doesn't support. Similarly to Sonarr automates the downloading and organisation of this content. Radarr will download requested content as soon as it's available in your desired quality.
9 Best Home Server Apps to Automate Media Management
Radarr is a relatively new service, made specifically for downloading Movies. It's based on the same interface as Sonarr, so new users that have used Sonarr in the past should be right at home with Radarr. • Is there something like "network attached monitor"
The devices had a small daemon that would periodically send HTTP requests to the central web service and check if it needed to update the content it was displaying and would update content accordingly. The content was displayed through OSMC. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Pay me the buying power to afford the things you got at my age, and maybe then I'll buy these things...
Downstairs is a Raspberry PI hooked to large hard drive (8TB). That runs OSMC and provides network access for all computers/phones in the house while being hooked up to the living room TV. The IPTV can run through it but I just watch that on my computer. Source: over 1 year ago
  • one day my friend
Just put osmc on it and use it as media center. Depending on your hardware it can be pretty solid. And there is a lot you can configure. it's basically an os which boots direcly to kodi. Also it supports hdmi-cec so you can use your normal tv remote, it's awesome. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Plexamp v4.2.2 Released
I have heard good stuff about https://osmc.tv/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Can someone suggest a Smart TV like distro?
From what I know there aren't many options for this use case, and those that I know of (like OSMC or Plasma Bigscreen) all run on ARM devices like Raspberry Pi, but not x86/64. I would recommend the same as other commenters: to just use a normal distribution and put something like Kodi on it. You could probably configure the system to automatically start up whatever UI you prefer to make it more seamless. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Gzip compression questions for 2 use cases
I use Nginx for Sonarr/Radarr would I see any general performance benefit when loading their webpages in general? If so, what level of compression would be ideal for this case? Source: 10 months ago
  • /r/Plex's Moronic Mondays' No Stupid Questions Thread - 2023-07-10
There may be better places, since I've just stuck to the same one for years now (and don't need them often enough to look into alternatives), but I usually use either subscene or opensubtitles. There are also programs that can automate it like bazarr, but it requires you to also use Sonarr/Radarr. Source: 10 months ago

  • Best programs to use alongside Plex?
Two instances of Radarr (one for 4K and one for everything else) running on one of my Linux servers. Source: 12 months ago
  • Mixture of local and streaming possible?
Jellyfin doesn’t download movies. I think you want Radarr for that. Unless you mean that your Jellyfin server is somewhere else other than the cabin and you’re connecting to Jellyfin remotely from your cabin, in which case yeah you’d probably have to wait for it to download/buffer which could take a while.
