I have replaced Jira with Ora from 5 months now and I am very happy with it. It has a great ui combined with a lot of usefull features. I love the automations.
Ora is simple to use yet with so many advanced features which are almost all for free! Beautiful design, intuitive!
Love the UI and UX. Also, it has handy features that I didn't find in Trello which makes my work easier.
TimeSnapper might be a bit more popular than Ora. We know about 8 links to it since March 2021 and only 8 links to Ora. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Mine is due in January but I probably do the same. I do have a ltd of ora.pm I might move everything to it. What did you end up choosing? Source: 10 months ago
Notion only works good on web, and is very clunky on Android. I cannot use Anytype as it is desktop-app-focused. Though it does have Android, sometimes I need to take notes for the online courses I do and I'd rather do that on the laptop. I wanted to try out Obsidian but that isn't going to work either as it is desktop-app-focused. I heard Coda doesn't work well on Android. I am left with Saga and Slab but both... I'm personally using ora.pm. It basically allows you to aggregate several Trello boards together on one timeline. So I have one board per client and a timeline to see an overview of all my tasks. Source: over 1 year ago
I just wanted to chime in, another great tool for project management Is Ora. I came across it when I was looking for something to keep track of my own personal projects and it has more features out of the box than Trello. I can honestly see myself using it in a work setting over Jira for scrum stuff. Source: almost 2 years ago
Looks like it's available for macOS as well: https://timesnapper.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
A recent comment here on HN pointed me to https://timesnapper.com/. It takes screenshots across your entire workday and you can go through a video of what you were doing. Total gamechanger for me, I absolutely love it. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I used TimeSnapper for a long time. It screenshots your desktop at an interval that you define, allows you to markup with notes on the screenshots, builds your screenshots into a gif of your day, tracks active window, allows you to delete irrelevant screenshots, log database and screenshots can be password-protected, etc. The developer was quick to reply to questions about the software and how to take advantage of... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
This looked interesting but my antivirus didn't like it as it detected "SWF.Exploit.Kit.Rig.tht.Talos" when downloaded from http://timesnapper.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I highly recommend TimeSnapper ( https://timesnapper.com ) if you're a visual person, it lets you take occasional screenshots throughout the day and then play it back like a movie, super helpful for jogging my memory. I'm not associated with them, just a long time user - they used to have a free version which was pretty good but I paid for it when they introduced a Mac version. Also backtrack ( www.backtrack.team... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
