  • Looking for a cheap option to get areal images of my fields
Have a look at mapsmadeeasy.com Similar service to drone deploy but you pay per photo rather than monthly so works out much cheaper for small or less frequent jobs, typically $10 or $20 per map for me. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Residential Lot Topography Survey
I'm a hobbyist with recreational land, but I've been able to get surprisingly good results using a DJI Mavic Mini (not Mini 2) and mapsmadeeasy.com (I also use dronelink.com to plan the drone mapping missions). I then postprocess on mapsmadeeasy with a few ad-hoc GCPs to fix georeferencing and eliminate curvature (though I haven't had any trouble with that on a small scale since I started using a checkerboard/grid... • Best software for stitching together orthomosaics?
I'm a fan of mapsmadeeasy.com's pay as you go service. Jobs which "price out" at <250 points are free, which is intended to help you learn the service on a small-scale before paying, but ends up covering many small recreational jobs fully. The costs over 250 points are very reasonable. For my use, I've actually bought a package of points from them even through every single one of my runs so far has been under 250...
