  • I thought gtx 1050 supported openGL 4.6?
    GTX 1050 supports 4.6, but comes with 4.5. You could use OpenGL Extensions Viewer to check up to which version you have installed (https://realtech-vr.com/home/glview), then you could also try to install the 4.6 opengl drivers from here: https://developer.nvidia.com/opengl-driver, or check in nvidia control panel's 3D settings if your gtx 1050 is the opengl renderer by default.
