It varies for different people. Around 2/3 months for me. Recovery is a 1000% better, like shockingly good. Would stick to the diet. Also, are you consuming enough fat? nutritionix.com can help you with that figuring that out if you need to. Source: about 1 year ago
I will note that when eating /drinking away from home, I NEVER order a fountain drink or any drink in a "to go" cup or any drink prepared by a restaurant. (except water) There have been too many times when it comes and it is NOT diet soda, but is regular. Has anyone else tried Runalyze (https://runalyze.com) to track running progress and performance? Source: 9 months ago
Https://runalyze.com/ is a great tool that can do this! Source: 12 months ago
I'm currently 5'9" and 82kg and just ran a half marathon in 1:47 a few weeks back. I lost weight while training, but started off barely being able to break an 11 minute mile back in October. The 255 would work just fine for you. If you enjoy the data side of things, there are great sites that link up to Garmin (I use runalyze.com and intervals.icu) for more information.
