Questions and Answers

As answered by people managing Numista and OpenStudio.

What makes your product unique?

OpenStudio's answer:

The real strength of OpenStudio is the availability of the team to develop custom applications for you! If you have a specific workflow you need to integrate in a new app, they design it for you - and it is for FREE

No one out there will offer the possibility of having a custom-designed application for you, but OpenStudio does!

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

OpenStudio's answer:

OpenStudio is managed by a caring team of volunteers, which makes the environment more familiar, yet still highly professional! They always reply under 24h in case of requests, support or information requests, and are always available for you.

It is truly innovative and unique to have some so available and at your disposal, and especially 100% for FREE!

How would you describe your primary audience?

OpenStudio's answer:

The audience of OpenStudio is really heterogenous: it goes from companies that want to have a unique online place to manage all the administrative activities, to workgroups that share the same goal to small business that want to have a digital workplace. But OpenStudio is also suitable for small communities and teams - it is truly a powerful resource for any group work!

What's the story behind your product?

OpenStudio's answer:

  • Devactif (March 2015). The project starts as a custom management panel for the international team of a forum-creation company: lots of time has passed since then!
  • TranslationsCloud (January 2016). The software was exlusively dedicated to translations, in order to promote the multilingual dimension in the websites, and still in the forums.
  • Ticketing (October 2017). With the continuos evolution of the translation tools, some extra components had been added, and the multilingual aspect was leaving the floor to a more complex service.
  • OpenStudio (January 2018). The final version! Always in development and improvement, the all-in-one service as you see it now!

  • Do these coins have any added value
Use this website from now on to do your research, this will always give you information you need. The best way to tell if your Commemorative coin is valuable is by looking at the mintage, if it is about 1 million or below then alot of the time you have something worth more than Face Value. If it is any more, most likely it isn't worth anything more than what it says on the coin. Source: 6 months ago
  • Any apps to track gold / silver portfolio??
Https://en.numista.com/ is the best tool for this, very under rated and a lot of people don't use it. You can even find most bars saved in the system. IF the system does not have something you want to add you can make a new profile for it that is public. The system works similar to wikipedia accept with coins, banknotes, and bars. Numista will also help keep track of premiums of different types of bullion... Hope... Source: 6 months ago
  • Question on KM#
I've been cataloging my foreign coins, and I like to put the KM# on the 2x2s I put them in. I've been using en.numista.com, and I see that most Chinese coins only list a Y#. And there are some that have nothing other than an N#. I'm not sure if the site just isn't listing them or what.....does anyone know, do most Chinese coins also have a KM#? And why do some coins only have an N# - I thought maybe it was... Source: 6 months ago
  • Going to get these coins and a bunch more really soon, I just want some info on these and potential value (sry for bad quality, i didnt take the photos)
En.numista.com - search for coins value. Source: 11 months ago
  • 1998 5oz BU Cabeza Olmeca. One of the toughest coins in the entire Pre-columbian series. Only 1 straight grade coin in @ngccoins competitive sets and MS67 Top Pop. The mintage is supposedly 2150 but good luck finding one
Https://en.numista.com/ start here. You can search just by date and country. As you become more familiar you can try other search parameters. This will just tell you more information about the specific coin or medal. Source: 12 months ago
