10 games like Diablo to play while you wait for Diablo 4
Like Grim Dawn, Path of Exile is for the Diablo fan not looking for anything new, but rather a sequel to Diablo 2 that isn't Diablo 3. • For those that don't like roguelikes/roguelites, what are your issues with them from a design perspective?
For me, one of the best roguelites is Nuclear Throne. They have permadeath, they have procedural levels, the have difficulty peaks but all is set correctly. All the progress come on the skills. We, as a player, sense that we are better and better to beat the game and reach the throne. Source: about 3 years ago
