Using a package manager that can be installed on most distro is one way to help you get to work faster. Flatpak is one of them; other alternative are Snap, Nix or Homebrew. A simpler solution is sercrethub https://secrethub.io (who just got purchased by 1password). I’ve used it on my personal project and it worked great and has nice features - and is free for some small number of secrets, but with much fewer capabilities than Vault. Source: almost 3 years ago
