I have moved from Google calendar to NextCloud calendar self-host and quite happy with it. I use it with Apple Calendar for creating events, etc. Though sometimes it doesn't sync properly, most of the time, it does the job. The only downside is, I would like to connect my domain/email to the calendar but it is not possible with NextCloud, so it is quite inconvenient if someone tries to invite me. I've poked around a while ago at some Calendly alternatives (specifically was looking for something that was cheaper than Calendly with most of the basic features). I tried using cal.com for a bit but ended up just switching over to https://zcal.co.
