    I ran into this same problem like 6-7 years ago, it was in a mixed Linux/Windows env and when time drift between the two would get out of sync things would break all over the place. I found that all my Linux boxes were staying in sync with NTP but my DCs were not even with time sync with host turned off. Maybe a mildly hacky solution but I installed NetTime from timesynctool.com on my DCs and used the NTP servers... Source: over 1 year ago
