  • How to record what's on old drives
NeoFinder. There is a windows version too, but a different name. Great for cataloging/ indexing disks, server volumes, dvds, cds, etc. Can even include a thumbnail photo, text sample, & metadata. Powerful search tools. Easy to use. Not a subscription. Both Mac & Windows versions use same database. Recommended. Mac : https://cdfinder.de/ Windows version: http://www.abemeda.de/. • Looking for a DAM/MAM that doesn't have a central catalog/database
Not sure this is everything you need, NeoFinder. Https://cdfinder.de/ Is meant for keeping a catalog of removable media so has no expectation of being connected to the source volume to operate. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Check Out NeoFinder for Cataloguing
I've found that neither PreRoll Post or YoYotta are very intuitive or useful for cataloguing LTO. I discovered NeoFinder (cdfinder.de) a few years ago and it's incredible and so useful. It creates a catalog file that you easily search or browse similarly to how you would in Finder. It can also create thumbnails and previews for photos/video/audio/etc. It's been bulletproof and I've even used it to catalog... Source: about 2 years ago
  • What alternatives are there to Adobe Bridge?
I don't know if it's the way I had Bridge set up, but it was desperately slow showing catalogues of images - if it cached the db I didn't notice any speed boost in reading from it that's for sure. If you're on a Mac just looking for images try NeoFinder - I've found it substantially faster! Source: over 2 years ago
  • Graphic Asset Management?
On my Mac I use NeoFinder and it's fantastic - fast, extensive and capable of handling a bucketload of file formats. They have a sister product AbeMedia for Windows. I've never used it, but if it's half as good NeoFinder it will be what you're looking for. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Anti porn petition on Netflix
I also found out that imdb.com has a parental guide, that's pretty neat! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/parentalguide. Source: 6 months ago
  • Cant access some sites
Anyone have issues accessing some sites? Just to let everyone know its happening on every device in my home not just one. For example I cannot get to imdb.com I get 403 error but I can get to netflix.com. I can get to all sites if I connect to a vpn first. So its something with atts network but not sure what. • Does anybody know what camera was used for the movie Friday (1995) ?
According to imdb.com: Panavision Cameras and Lenses https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113118/technical/?ref\_=tt\_spec\_sm. Source: 7 months ago
  • IMDB Trakt Watchlist/Rating Syncer Tool (sync both ways)
I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. Also syncs episode ratings. You can use this script alongside PlexTraktSync and TMDB-Trakt-Syncer to get your ratings syncs across all 4 platforms! It should work on any OS. The project's Github repository and source code can be found... Source: 7 months ago
  • Does anybody know which property this is? They had this shot in „Up in the air“ (great movie!) and now also in the OxyConton documentary on Netflix. It looks so cool, I’d love to visit it some day!
Check Internet Movie Database for the movie title. Most list filming locations. Should help narrow it to the city. imdb.com. Source: 10 months ago
