  • Can I lock my Mac when an AirTag moves away from it?
There are ways to do this with an iPhone and/or Apple Watch. Near Lock is one option. Source: over 1 year ago
  • An app that locks the mac if it hasn't detected your face in 3 minutes.
I don't think such an app exists, but maybe Near Lock comes in handy: https://nearlock.me/. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Alternative to Near Lock !
I've been trying for over a year to find an app that unlock my Hackintosh (and MBP) with my phone or other blueprint when I get near it (and lock it when I walk away). I have a Whoop band so an Apple Watch isn't an option right now (until they add BP monitoring and my Whoop sub runs out at least). I found Near Lock and nearly cried with joy. LayAuto mentions (1)

  • Recommedation on monitor
Also, I'm using LayAuto software for window placement on a large display (split display in various sized grids - let me know if you want me to share my defaults). This is absolutely invaluable, as otherwise you spend most of your time arranging windows. Another one I've used and likes is Magnet, but it didn't allow me to customise the split and the keyboard shortcuts. Source: over 2 years ago
