I would say go with Navidrome and the substreamer app (for Android). I am using Navidrome for a year now with approximately +25 GBs music collection, and it has been a pleasant experience to set up and get used to. Here's the link for Navidrome GitHub: https://github.com/navidrome/navidrome and also the official website: https://navidrome.org. Source: over 1 year ago
I went looking on navidrome.org and through here, but I couldn't find such a document. Have I overlooked somewhere obvious? Source: over 1 year ago
Navidrome (free open source software from https://navidrome.org) is running on the Raspberry Pi 3 which is under my desk via a wired connection with it's own 'http://navidrome.local' custom domain name. This is what it looks like:. Source: almost 3 years ago

I've been using WACUP, it's really good: https://getwacup.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 6 days ago
I use the community update of Winamp, WACUP, and it's excellent. I've tried other media players but always come back here. I'm not even one of those people who likes the shitty visualisations, I just think the interface works perfectly. https://getwacup.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 6 days ago
Obligatory mention of the current fork of winamp: WACUP https://getwacup.com/ Based on core that was open sourced around Winamp 3 DrO one of the ex devs is gradually re-implementing all the other parts. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
FWIW, a reimplementation is available: https://getwacup.com/ (I'm unsure how long it'll last) Nevertheless, This may a good time you get to say bye-bye to Winamp. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
I made this Winamp skin based on the design concept in "Diablo II: Resurrected & Remixed". It's a Modern skin, so requires Winamp 5 (or WACUP). The skin can be downloaded from my site. Source: 9 months ago
