mylar3 mentions (5)

  • Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a pirates life for me!! Recent streaming services, prices and shows getting butchered, finally decided its time. Here's how a basic self-hosted 'Netflix' would look like. Fully automated once its setup. Using only a makeshift homelab server from second hand parts.
Mylar3: Specifically designed for comic book management. Source: 11 months ago
  • 40 Containers & Counting...
Mylar - Equivalent to Readarr, but for comic-books. Also, less intuitive to use. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What are your top self hosted services that you are very satisfied with ?
You might want to look into Mylar3 and/or Threetwo. I've only tried Mylar3 myself, and I believe it did download a comic or two, but based on some other comments in this thread, it sounds like it's hit or miss for reliability. Source: over 1 year ago
  • What are your top self hosted services that you are very satisfied with ?
I've got a pretty small archive, so currently manually managing it. But I had bookmarked Threetwo to look into later. It might just automate acquiring comics though, like Mylar3. (Although Mylar might also be able to manage comics, but I haven't dealt into it too much). Source: over 1 year ago
  • What Are The Coolest Virtual Machines You Currently Run 24/7?
Mylar3 and Kavita - To download and read comics. Running on a Win 10 VM because I got it all setup before I started getting into Docker. Mylar downloads the comics and Kavita is a nice web UI for reading them. https://github.com/mylar3/mylar3 https://github.com/Kareadita/Kavita. Source: over 1 year ago

The Overseer part In truth, I'm less familiar with and it's full feature set, But at a quick glance it looks like it would be similar to ombi (https://ombi.io/). I know for a fact that you can set up OMBI to let users just type in stuff and it will grab it for them. I didn't like that and opted to manually approve requests. Source: 11 months ago
  • This would have made my life so much easier in the beginning....
Now add Ombi so that shared plex users have the ability to request content by themselves. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Plex, sonarr, and radarr have saved my sanity... and ruined my gaming computer at the same time
Now pipe that all through ombi and you will live like a king! Also, don't forget to add your watchlist from plex to radarr and sonarr. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Looking for something similar
If what you're looking for is a request handled from the user's you give access to. Then you should check out Ombi. Ombi. Source: over 1 year ago
  • LPT: You can set up a free VPN server on your router to watch Netflix as if you are at home
I use Jellyfin to host my media and Ombi for users to request media. Ombi sends user requests to Radarr for movies, and Sonarr for TV shows. Source: over 1 year ago
