  1. A great password management tool

I moved from 1Password to Bitwarden about half a year ago. I never looked back, and I've never missed anything. The UI might be a touch clunkier than 1Password, but it's still good and perfectly usable on the whole. What is more, it is open-source and people can inspect its code.

  • Samsung financing
Are the account numbers from Samsung financing the same as TD banks? I'm trying to enroll on myonlineaccount.net but it seems I get "We cannot verify the information entered. Please try again.". Source: over 1 year ago
  • Samsung Financing Payment Timeline ?
Hey so I recently got approved for Samsung Financing back in August and the first minimum payment is due today on October 3rd. I paid in advance on October 1st on myonlineaccount.net and it said it was pending. I checked my banking account today and TD Bank/ Samsung hasn't taken the payment out yet. I checked back on myonlineaccount and it says that the payment was submitted. I called TD Bank's customer service... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Credit Score Crashing because unable to pay Samsung Financing bill due to technical issues on their end
I did my due diligence of trying my best to resolve this issue. I called the numbers on their website (myonlineaccount.net) and they are purely automated with no way to talk to a real person. Their get-help-logging-in automation on the phone just says it can be done online. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Online Safety: A Guide to Protecting Yourself
While not every site has adopted passwordless logins, a better way to secure your accounts that still use passwords is by using a password manager like Bitwarden or 1Password. They help you create strong, unique passwords and remember them easily. Most password managers come with autofill features that make it easy to use across devices. - Source: dev.to / 13 days ago

  • What program(s) do you use to remember passwords, including crypto?
For passwords and 2FA I use Bitwarden in combination with a self-hosted Vaultwarden service (for imcreased security and use of pro features for free). Source: 6 months ago
  • Amazon Account with unauthorised purchases, did my google passwords get leaked
First it's good to use a password manager, however it's not a good idea to use the one built into your browser. I would suggest switching to BitWarden or similar (not LastPass). Source: 6 months ago
  • Did I mess up?
I just noticed today when relogging in on Bitwarden (I couldn't sync my vault) that it said "Logged in as [email] on __$2__" instead of "Logged in as [email] on bitwarden.com". I don't know why or how that happened, and I have no idea what it means. Did I screw up somehow? Just to be clear, I did login and just after I logged in my brain realized that it said "__$2__" instead of what it should say. Source: 6 months ago
