While I'm not a sight reader, and haven't actually used musical notation in a long time, I think being able to write into staves & preview/export MIDI (or, import & edit MIDI) will be really helpful, and it seems to be used by the Musition courses. Turns out it was opendoor.com, who put it right back on the market for barely more than they paid. It ultimately sold for nearly 20k less than what they paid for it, meaning the corporate buying site lost money on it. I truly don't understand that whole process. Source: over 1 year ago
