  • No help from Google. TL;DR- don't trust them with your data
I just used multcloud.com to transfer all of my photos to Dropbox. Im pretty sure it retained all of the original photo data and was way easier than that takeout bullshit. Source: 11 months ago
  • Google Workspace emailed me saying i reached my limit
Better use Rclone for this. I don't have very much experience using rsync, but I know Rclone would do this job very fine. If you don't want to get a VPS or run Rclone locally, you could consider a service like multcloud.com to migrate from Google Drive to Dropbox. Source: 12 months ago
  • please teach me a fast way to copy/sync all photos in Google photos to another cloud storage without download, I deleted these photos in my Android smartphone
I did some Googling, and found there's a service called MultCloud. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Gmail/Google Workspace Drive Migration
I might have found a workaround if no one else has any other idea. This site (multcloud.com) is for transferring between clouds. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Google Photos migration tool
I have tried multcloud.com, cloudsfer.com end some minor ones. None of these are accurate IMHO. They are not able to move all contents leaving me with an issue to check hundreds of items. Also they do not provide a simple feature: move ALL from A to B, period. I do have loose photos and many Albums I would like to preserve. Sadly, Google Drive desktop client is not able to create Albums based on directories. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Anyone know of a company called Tyk?
Hey, I'm interested in a developer role at a company called Tyk. Has anyone heard of them or worked with them? What's working with them like? They seem like a great company to work for on paper but I'm quite cynical. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to choose the right API Gateway
Last but not least, one of the important aspects can be the cost of the usage of API management solution. If it is a 100% production-ready open-source version already practiced by many companies, you can opt for it. In the case of the enterprise edition, check if they have a suitable free tier to experiment with features before you pay and does the company have the full support that you require. • Building event-driven API services using CQRS, API Gateway and Serverless
Command and Query services APIs can be managed via lightweight, independently deployable, and scalable API gateways that can run anywhere that allow developers to manage API endpoints. They can handle extremely large volumes, as they run on highly scalable platforms, for example, Apache APISIX, Kong, Tyk, and Ambassador to name a few. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
