Reelgood vs. JustWatch vs. Plex: Battle of the streaming guides
Reelgood has always been the slickest of the universal guide apps. It does a great job suggesting new movies and shows to watch, with recommendations based on your viewing habits along with menus for different genres. Each movie or show is clearly labeled with the streaming service it’s currently available on, along with ratings from both IMDb and Reelgood itself. The...
Best Apps for Finding Where Shows and Movies Are Streaming
Reelgood covers all the major subscription services, such as Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and Netflix; niche ones like Acorn TV and Mubi; and premium channels, such as HBO and Showtime. It also includes Apple TV+, Disney+, HBO Max, Paramount+, and Peacock, to list just a few. Reelgood will also check TV Everywhere channels you can stream if you subscribe to a traditional pay-TV...

  • Install Kodi on ATV without xcode or cydia?
Https://mrmc.tv is the way as it is based on Kodi.. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Trakt to scrobble Netflix, HBOMax and Disney+ via AppleTV?
I haven't tried it but I think using the apps WatchAidor MrMC might. I seems to function like the ATV app. Neither have been updated in a few years though. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Cheapest 4K Plex Client?
I could also recommend a Fork of Kodi, MrMC. This has a native integration of plex in its main "app" and it is available in Google Play, Amazon, iOS and AppleTV stores. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: Are there any 4K “dumb” televisions?
I use an AppleTV 4K on every TV. Media is on a NAS (TrueNAS Mini). I use a Kodi port called MrMC (~7USD in App store) to mount the NAS shares and play all the media (supports NFS and SMB). Run a container (on the NAS) with MySQL that MrMC talks to that syncs status between all instances. Works great. Watch in one room, pause and pick up where I left off in the next room. https://mrmc.tv/. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Any other 3rd Party Jellyfin Client for iOS / iPad OS (apart from Infuse)?
MrMc is the only other client I can recall. I don't know if it supports the features he wants. I saw some people recommend it for Apple TV. I don't have any experience with it. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Where to Watch?
I've had decent success tracking down titles with Reelgood (https://reelgood.com/), which is basically a streaming aggregator. Also, it's not streaming but I actually got about a dozen Vinegar Syndrome and Partner Label titles on disc from my local library. Source: 10 months ago
  • Any plug-ins to allow for Plex to show non-local owned movies (Movies on Vudu/iTunes/Amazon etc)
To be fair reelgood.com can do the same thing but I like justwatch better. Source: 10 months ago
  • What ship is this? It's the only one I can't really place from anywhere.
I don't know what else to tell you, other than I only watched a few seconds of each episode, and to recommend the streaming search engines Reelgood and Justwatch. Source: 10 months ago
  • Looking for suggestions for Roku alternative
I moved from Roku to Chrome cast with googletv to use deep linking that most devices are no longer supporting. I use the reelgood.com app on my cell or website on my laptop to cast. I also use justwatch.com to open shows/movies to open the app you select to stream from. Source: 11 months ago
  • Horror Tv-series with good story line.
You can use sites like JustWatch / MovieFone / ReelGood to figure out where films/shows are streaming. Source: 12 months ago
